The Frontier AI Hypocrisy !

Dario Amodei says "we must pace the frontier". Sam Altman nods. 

Go ahead and cut the act, the theater and the hypocrisy!

Anthropic and OpenAI are the frontier. By market share, model capability, and self‑claimed recursive improvement, both companies already run a duopoly. If their unreleased (?) models are so risky, to slow down, fine, be responsible and just do it!

⚠️ Stop pretending you need regulators, antitrust exceptions, or "independent" evaluators tied to your own investors. 

⚠️Stop framing caution as pure altruism. Reliability reduces liability, protects your brand, and keeps customers after the Hugging Face fiasco.

If Anthropic and OpenAI really want to slow down, they can just do it, without demanding a custom regulatory regime. 

👉 Otherwise it looks like regulatory capture dressed as safety or well engineered propaganda !
