Many consider the 2008 Wimbledon men's singles final to be the greatest tennis match!

It was the 3rd consecutive final between Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, the two best players of their generation and destined to become two legends of their sport.

Federer won the previous two finals and was looking to record his 6th consecutive singles title, eclipsing Bjorn Borg's open-era record.

While the tension escalates during this legendary match, from 4:10:45 to 4:12:30, the two best passing shots of the tournament, are exchanged by the two rivals during the most pressing and challenging moments of the game. Federer at the edge of losing the final, under the pressure of two championship points for Nadal, delivers with determination, grace, and effortless manner, the second passing shot.

A unique grass court art, making the extraordinary look effortless, with the absence of fuss!

Many more moments like this, on which he managed to turn the odds in his favor, built a legendary career as the Maestro, the Imperial Roger Federer.

The event stretched over seven hours ending just before nightfall with the lights on the Center court starting to fade.

Rafael Nadal finally defeated the five-time defending champion Roger Federer, 6–4, 6–4, 6–7(5–7), 6–7(8–10), 9–7 to win the gentlemen's singles tennis title at the 2008 Wimbledon Championships.

For Rafael Nadal, this was destined to become his first Wimbledon title, ending Roger Federer's incredible five-year reign.

A truly a classic match between two great champions playing their very best on tennis's greatest stage!
