Over the past two years, following the explosion of large language model (LLM) tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and DeepSeek, we at Graypes have witnessed a sharp increase in business proposals submitted for assessment.

Astonishingly, around 65% of these proposals seem to follow the same templated narrative, which goes something like this:

📎We are developing a cutting-edge solution that substantially improves <a_trending_field> by leveraging the power of Artificial Intelligence and <one_more_fancy_technology> 📎

Where <a_trending_field> typically includes:

📍 Energy Infrastructure

📍 Biotech Convergence

📍 Precision Health

📍 Climate Tech

📍 Cybersecurity

And <one_more_fancy_technology> tends to be:

📍 Blockchain

📍 Synthetic Biology

📍 Genetic Engineering

📍 Battery & Energy Storage Innovation

Essentially, we’re looking at a Buzzword Salad recipe: combine AI with any trending industry and sprinkle on an emerging tech, and voilà—a business summary that sounds innovative, but often lacks real substance.

💡 What’s both amusing and telling is that many of these proposals appear to have been generated using LLMs themselves—creating flashy, jargon-filled summaries that aim to impress investors but fail to convey meaningful value.

💡 Fortunately, we in Graypes have developed AI-based tools that can analyze and evaluate the originality, feasibility, and depth of such proposals—even when wrapped in layers of overhyped language.

P.S. By some devilish coincidence, many of the authors of these proposals have recently updated their LinkedIn profiles to include titles like “AI Expert” or “AI Pioneer”, despite having been “NFT Evangelists,” “Blockchain Gurus,” or “Crypto Mentors” just months earlier.
